Staff Opening in Cincinnati

Impact Campus Ministries is currently seeking to hire a full-time Associate Campus Minister to add to our team in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Our campus ministries are built on the premise that true success is developing “intimacy with God” (a personal, real, dynamic relationship with God through faith in Jesus). We do this by pursuing it ourselves, modeling it, and purposefully teaching it to university students across the United States. The focus of this job is making sincere connections with students, motivating and inspiring them to pursue their own intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.

The ministry in Cincinnati is focused on cultivating healthy relationships with students, university staff, local ministry partners, and one another. The team recognizes that discipleship happens over time through investing in those relationships. We are looking for someone who values this type of “slow and steady” approach but is also ready to try new ways of making and nurturing those connections.

The Impact Cincinnati team is creating a people-first culture where there is space to be creative, opportunities for growing together, and room to try and fail. Therefore, the right candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, be able to think outside the box, and enjoy collaborating with the team. We are looking for someone who can identify the unique needs of the students and cultivate spiritually healthy relationships with them.

The role also requires a readiness to extend hospitality to all, offer mentoring, and be committed to walking with students through the different seasons of their college years. This role includes coordinating ministry to female students while also working closely with all students. Because this ministry deeply values its ministry partners, we are also looking for a candidate who understands networking and is willing to collaborate with other individuals and groups who share the same heart for students.

The University of Cincinnati is located in the center of Cincinnati. The city supports local businesses and values collaboration, as shown by the strong co-op program offered at the university. This program gives students a chance to get hands-on experience before graduation. The city is multicultural and boasts plenty of opportunities to pursue a variety of passions. Its parks are well known for their beauty and are located all over Cincinnati.
